Medieval Martial Arts Workshops
Our Medieval Martial Arts Workshops are ideal when coupled with
Knights of Veritas educational presentations, but are also excellent
for special engagments all on their own. Each workshop
is geared towards introducing students to the fundamental concepts of authentic personal combat from the middle ages
through the exploration of a period weapon and how it was used according to
surviving manuscripts from that time. Weapon choices include:
- long sword
- pole axe
- dagger
Participants receive a personalized hands-on journey through
basic techniques left to us by medieval masters such as Sigmund Ringeck, Paulus Kal, Peter von
Danzig, Hans Talhoffer and others. Training arms and fencing masks are provided for the workshop.
Each 1 hour class includes full color class notes, and is for ages 12 to adult. More information on our curricula and expanded workshops
can be
found at Veritas
Swordplay Academy.
Cost to your organization: starts at $250 per workshop, up to 10 registrants

Travel Rates
We try to keep travel costs affordable for our presentations; in most cases, at or below $100 for much of our service area of the Pacific Northwest. It is always easier for us to
keep travel costs down when we are traveling for more than one presentation on a given day. We are willing to work with you to find other
organizations in your local area who are also interested in having a presentation, in order to keep travel costs
down for everyone.
Travel costs may also be defrayed if multiple programs are booked, such as adding a
Medieval Martial Arts Workshop or Family Engagement Activities
to one of our Educational Presentations. Offer more programs for your patrons
and get a discount on travel
costs to help your bottom line!
